The Belvedere Book Fair is one of the school lead events of the year!
November 15-22
Family Night, November 20, 5pm-7pm
The week long book fair helps to provide reading resources for the school and a fun community event for the students. It is put on by the school's media team.
Parents and guardians are needed to assist students to select their purchases during their media time, and complete the sale at check out.
Another opportunity is to help out at the family night book fairs held in the fall and the spring.
Please make sure that you have applied to be a Volunteer in AACPS (Screen ID).
Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped make it happen alongside with Mrs. West.
Belvedere's Field Day out in the sunshine is a teacher lead tradition of the school year that brings much fun to all students, caregivers, parents, and staff alike!
Field day gives kids the chance to celebrate the school year coming to an end, show some class pride, and spend a day outside being active.
Volunteers prep equipment, purchase supplies, run stations while cheering on the student body.
See you at next year's field day!
Do you enjoy helping children learn through fun and extra-curricular activities?
After school clubs are back at Belvedere! It takes a team effort to make our clubs a success.
We need 2 parents during each club day to help supervise students and help with dismissal from clubs. You can volunteer to help for a single day or a whole session!
Volunteering for after school clubs is a great way to get involved in the community and to support our children learning beyond the classroom!
We will be needing help in springtime, please check back in March to help out.
We appreciate the gift of your time and make the following commitments to our volunteers:
We will start and end on time. Your time is valuable, and we are committed to respecting your time.
There will be a representative at each event to greet you and introduce you to others.
Directions will be clear and concise. Each volunteer is needed to fulfill a specific goal. We will make sure that is clearly communicated either upon arrival or before your event or volunteer opportunity.
Your time will have a positive impact on our students, families, teachers, and staff. All volunteer activities in the 2024/2025 school year will involve one of the following: Building Community, Teacher and Staff Appreciation, Green Initiative, or Fundraising to meet the needs of Belvedere.
