Year Around Clubs

Sea Perch Club

Do you have a 5th Grader who loves STEM? Is your child excited to learn all things in engineering, robotics, and how things work?

The Sea Perch Underwater Robotics Club is sponsored by the Advanced Co-Curricular office in Anne Arundel County in conjunction with the office of Naval Research and the United States Navy Academy.

The Sea Perch program engages students in STEM activities in which they design and build an underwater remote operated vehicle (called a Sea Perch).

The initiative focuses on bringing academia, government, and industry to work together to nurture student interest in marine biology and engineering.

Students use drills, PVC cutters, and learn to solder. Also, students will earn the exciting opportunity to participate in the Spring Expo at the US Naval Academy.
