About Us
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead
Who Are We?
The Belvedere Elementary PTA is made of parents, caregivers, and teachers who strive to keep BES a fun, supportive, and engaging school for all students. We want to ensure our children, our families, our teachers, and our school staff are supported. We strive to build community and provide communication so that families can easily get connected and find places of belonging in the BES community.
What Do We Do?
We support teachers and staff through teacher shout outs, daytime volunteers, and teacher appreciation initiatives lead by our Teacher Appreciation Team.
We create events that build community including the Fall Festival, Restaurant Nights, and the Belvedere Ball.
We provide communication for our families. This comes in the form of virtual PTA meetings that provide resources for parents, our weekly ParentSquare blasts, Facebook reminders, and an up-to-date PTA website.
We fundraise for our school. Each year the PTA hosts a Walk-A-Thon that brings in funds to meet the needs of Belvedere's teacher, students, and the school. Other smaller fundraisers fund community events and provide opportunity for students to connect at outside of school hours events.
